I was originally going to keep this project strictly secret. but this will be the only time I will mention it.
Ignite will possibly go on half-hiatus for a tiny bit.
This summer I want to focus my attention on a newer project.
I will call it DRY. It’s a yume nikki fangame about a deer who can escape his troubles through a form of musical meditation.
The reason why is I feel like I’ve rushed Ignite to the point where I haven’t been able to truly work on a stable yume nikki fangame and I think that doing this will be a fresh new more organized start satisfying my creative spirit. ( Now don’t get me wrong, I do like Ignite and i enjoy working on it ) I won’t be making a devblog for it. I will wait until I have a playable version available for you all. ( I will post the game on every account I have when ready )
I wasn’t even planning to announce it at all anywhere. But, I needed to at least announce it once to notify the half hiatus of Ignite and to make sure that you all don’t think I’ve up and disappeared all together.
Thank you for playing Ignite, ver0.02 will come eventually. Sorry to the fans. I might work on ver0.02 here and there this summer. it’s too close to being finished to just fully hiatus the project.

Here is Ignite’s wiki. Now, I am new with this and I don’t really know much about it yet. I just hope I put together at least an okay information site about the game. For those who do want to check it out and things like that. I will be updating it frequently. So it won’t be as small as it is right now. Also, I may not have the best english, excuse some grammar and spelling errors. I’ll spell check and fix them later.
Is there, perhaps, a walkthrough for the latest version? I'm just having a bit of trouble finding the last 3 effects and I'm a little stuck. But yes I love the game and I can't wait for 0.02's release!

I am working on an Ignite wikia. So that’ll sort of serve as a walkthrough and tell you more about the game itself and the characters. It’ll be a while before I have everything set up, once I get a good amount i’ll post a link for everyone. Hopefully that’ll help out.
Well it’s official, Ignite has an ending.
ver0.02 will feature an easy to reach ending. But considering this is the easy to reach ending. I assume you know what will probably happen.
Ignite’s good and bad ending will be different. Obviously.
But I can’t go into much detail yet.

there is two nexuses, one is definitely .flow inspired and the other is a mixture of both yume nikki and .flow.
I guess it’s just tribute or something, of course… anyone could say that. I really had no intentions of making a .flow type nexus because it’s been done a bunch of times I’d assume.
But..what makes up for it is instead of just having the same worlds but with little changes, They’re going to be same styled worlds but completely different arrangements plus new locations. Also you’re searching for the final effects entering this new nexus with all the ones you find in the beginning nexus.
ver0.02 probably will be longer then i expected it to originally be. It’s for the better of the project of course. Hope you’ll enjoy playing it when it releases.

Like .flow, Ignite will have a 2nd part to it. After you find 10 effects, (which is all of them in ver0.01+), that’s when the new 10 effects will be available. But I can’t give too much away yet. Obviously, it’s the halfway point of the game.
ver0.02 probably won’t have an ending. but we’re getting very close to one.

Some bad news for the development of Ignite, but first i want to say that ver0.02 is still underway and i have no intentions of canceling the game because of it.
Just recently my computer has been acting very strangely and the modem is not sounding quite right. I fear deeply that it may be coming to it’s end. If this happens, then I’ll be forced to move Ignite as well as some other games onto my newer computer. Everything will still be the way it was, just that the graphics may change a bit.
Thankfully I do have another resource and hopefully this will just be a minor slowdown, my other biggest hope is that my computer is just being weird and nothing too extreme.
ver0.02 will be out eventually.

This was Feutsuki’s original design and the old name of the game, En Fumée (Up in Smoke) .
Before I really got started on the project: Feutsuki was a high class cat who had an odd obsession with fire (this was the old plot. obviously the high class part was removed). His main weapon was a machete before I changed it to this demon looking pitchfork.
His red coat with zipper and boots design didn’t come until a day later.
I kind of wanted the style of En Fumée to match with this kind of music.

You can now play Ignite in Chinese, I have no idea how to get something like this to work or if you need a applocale. I think on this website it had two different versions on needing that thing or not.
